Chiropractic Care

Safe, Specific, and Gentle Care

The health and alignment of the spine are essential to a healthy nervous system which coordinates all body functions including focused thought, healthy sleep, optimal digestion and more.

Our Techniques

NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association)

NUCCA is a unique form of Upper Cervical Chiropractic care designed to restore balance to the human structure and nervous system through gentle touch.

It focuses on correcting a small misalignment in the upper neck. With that misalignment corrected, optimum balance is restored to the entire spinal column, affecting the function of the Central Nervous System which flows through the spinal column. When the Central Nervous System is functioning more freely and your spine is balanced, your entire body lets go of stress, pain, and becomes more balanced overall.

QSM3 (Quantum Spinal Mechanics)

QSM3 is a progressive form of Upper Cervical Chiropractic. Dr. Friedman is the founder of the QSM3 Procedure and is in the process of educating and advancing the great work of his predecessors. We use cutting edge, 3D model of measurement to correct misalignment. We check our work by taking measurements of your body before and after to make sure you get the best correction possible. We realize that the human body is a perfect system that must be considered as a whole, and take into consideration the entire spine and pelvis when doing exams.

K.S.T (Koren Specific Technique)

K.S.T is a highly specific technique that focuses on non-force Chiropractic adjustments. There is no twisting, turning, “cracking” or “popping” of joints with KST. Neurological Biofeedback (a type of muscle testing) is used to determine which part of the body needs to be adjusted. KST is a very gentle yet effective technique that allows the Chiropractor to easily analyze and then adjust any joint from head to toe with an FDA approved hand held device called an Arthrostim. This device has been clinically proven to promote relaxation. The high level of specificity and gentleness employed by the technique has given results that traditional adjusting hasn’t always achieved. Using this technique patients can be more thoroughly analyzed than ever before, with the adjustments holding better and for longer periods of time. One of the greatest advantages of this technique is that we can adjust someone in the position of their original injury, which enhances the effectiveness of the adjustment.

Soft Tissue Modalities Available

A.R.T. (Active Release Technique)

Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) is a highly effective treatment of overuse injuries associated with repetitive stress. Its dynamic movement is based on techniques that move muscle fibers, tendons, fascia and ligaments through a range of motion underneath a contact touch to release adhesions and promote healing. Active Release helps relieve painful injuries such as: neck pain, headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fascitis, knee problems, IT band syndrome, hamstring injuries, and much more.

Graston Therapy

Graston therapy is instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, designed to break down scar tissue and restrictions that are usually associated with trauma to the soft tissues (such as a strained muscle, pulled ligament, tendon and fascia). Using very specific methods the practitioner rubs stainless steel tools against the affected area to help break down the scar tissue and promote healing. Both the Doctor and the patient are able to feel the areas of adhesions and scar tissue through the tools.
